I also watched all the reviews including Gash the only thing with the first reviewers is that they mostly have the products given free and no matter how honest they try to be they are biased maybe sometimes unintentionally including Gash who I have watched for years.
The only true reviews are from people who part with their hard earned cash and not reviewing to get the next piece of latest spec for free or some have hidden agenda's lets say they sell products from certain manufacturers, having said that at least you get a I idea of the product so some benefits which makes them in modern day terms "INFLUENCERS".
Ps do not forget they do edit the review so some parts they do not want you to see may and I say may depending on how honest they are be may not shown or a second take done when they want it to be seen as it should work?

Did exactly the same. Gash is a brewer who uses his head and thinks things out to understand what is going on.
Watch all of his videos. He is also very good at contradicting himself. Watching the G4 video he claims it doesn't matter if the temperature rises a few degrees, it will still make beer. On a video using the G3 the temperature rose by 1C and he switched the unit off! Just remember, he is a salesman.

I did a Lager brew this morning took 2 3/4 hours all cleaned up except brew kettle as waiting to cool before transfer.
I have attached some pics just to show how accurate the Gen 4 is when used with the settings in manual mode changed to suit each step.
The mash was 45 mins and a 30 min boil with PH of 5.4.
You can see from the mash graph it was taken to 70c for strike and then mashed @ 65c and there was very little deviance.
This was done with the flow on just over half throttle too.
hysteresis set @0.1 for mash
Temp differential set @ 1c
Temp dropped to 45% after strike heat up.
