Hi all

Just picked up a couple of pressure barrels on eBay, they also threw in a BrewZer (If you've not heard of it there's a clip on Youtube)

I know they don't make the kits for these any more (£30 for 10 pint's isn't my idea of fun anyway) but I was wondering if anyone had any creative ideas of what to do with it? can't use it as a FV or anything else I don't think, as the kit used to use a plastic bag insert for it to clip together.

All I can think of so far is a plant pot... :hmm:

Cheers

what a load of sh*t , i've just watched it on u tube , no wonder i've never heard of em , think i'd just chuck it !!

 i havent brewed a beer yet but as far as I know there os a bit more to it than that, if its just done with cold tap water wont it end up at about 5-6 degrees once you have filled it up, which as far as I know is a little cold  think your idea of a new plant pot might be best :D

Haha I agree, the concept is shocking - What's more embarrassing is I've just learned that the company who invented this is/was based in my home county!

Just had a thought - cut the top off, stash some bottles in there and pack with ice

Did you ever find a use for it?

I've been brewing myself for a while now, mainly extract brewing as a small step up from using the kits where i started. a mate got one of these brewzers as a prezzie some time back and decided it'd be something to give to me, not sure what the hell to do with it, the ingredients are all well out of date but the barrel looks like it must be useful for something?

i'm thinking - maybe a bottle rinser?
