Coppers draught was my first brew, and to be honest it never really lost the twang that you refer to, probably because I only had it in the FV for 6/7 days, really needed longer. That said I still drank all 42 bottles and it was a great learning curve.

cheers Joe must admit its now a struggle to leave alone but a couple a week purely for research cant harm😀
have doubled up for second brew got a coopers bitter and irish stout on think i am really hooked now lol

You think you are hooked now, wait til you get the urge to try the Dark Side young Paduan than you will know what hooked is (all grain brewing, it's more time consuming but not as difficult as you might think especially if you go BIAB )

yeh hooked on the forum now trying to take in as much as i can.
will prob spend a while tinkering with the coopers stuff must admit the biab and all grain stuff looks a bit involved at the moment but will properly read up on it .
The draught was in the fv for two weeks so see what gives when its a little older but as with yours Joe it wont go to waste
