brewing noob

Hi all!

Been brewing since November and have brewed up about 500 pints so far all from kits. (Excessive???)
Really enjoy brew day (Friday night after work) because I get to drink myself stupid.


Have been reading up on turbo cider and WOW and recon these will be my next projects.


So thats pretty much me.

Awesome really looking forward to getting some more kit so I can brew some TC.... Not 100% sure if I have ordered everything that I need.....

Super yeast
Nutrient
Malic acid
Tannin
Obviously apple juice / fruit juice

Think thats all i need. Will check the recipies here again.

The Wow will need to wait for a week or two until i have a spare DJ as they have swmbo s wine bubbling away in them.

Possibly a stupid question but should a bulldog hammer of Thor finished fermenting after only 4 days? I was putting in the hop t-bag as per instructions and there was no activity at all in the FV. It did go mental for the first three days the foam on top almost over flowed the FV. Now nothing at all. Been sitting at 21c since I started. Should I just leave it the full 8 days or should I try something else?

Hello and welcome :

Take some hydrometer readings if the readings remain constant for a couple of days then the fermentation has finished. Leaving it a bit longer will help the beer clear as well :thumb:
