Did you get the latest edition, or just the one that's available free on his website? The free version is great but quite dated now.

I'm reading the latest edition.

I've just picked up the wheeler book...looks to be very useful. Deuchars ipa a definite! I like all the porter and stout recipes too. .

Personally, I didn't find this. Once I'd got a few brews done, and a rough handle on the process, I never picked it up again. I also started on AG, so a good chunk of it was redundant to begin with.

I'm the same, read it cover to cover when I got into brewing properly, I'd bought it a couple of years earlier after doing 2 kits but then fell away from the hobby. I've not really opened it after I'd done a few AG batches. Still an invaluable book to get started though I'd say.
