I brewed coopers bitter with normal sugar using a closed fermentation barrel with bung + bubbler, fermented for 2 weeks then poured into platic demi johns + primed with sugar, for a week , now I've bought 2 pressure barrels with pin valves have transfered the beer into one

Beer tastes fine, I used bottled mineral water do'nt know if this helps.

For my next brew I'm going with canadian blonde but am using muntons light spray malt 500g + glucose 500 gs

any tips will be using bottled water again
 
I wouldn't use plastic DJ's with any beer that's primed :nono: . If you've no glass beer bottles I would use 2ltr pop bottles, like the ones coke use
 
was all I had but got pressure barrels now did 1 week at 20 degrees put in pantry but added another 50 gs of sugar to re prime hope wont affect flavour too much
