Brewferm Old Brown....?

It's certainly Brown, pretty dark, sort of Oaky and sweet smell.

In the fermenter awaiting bottling.

I hav'nt brewed that but I have done the Diablo and the Abbey if you're referring to the Brewfwerm kits......but what may be of interest to you is that both these beers have turned out well and are best described as "full flavoured" when given at least 3 months to condition - long wait but worth it (and the longer the better with these). : Cwrw

The Diablo was very good, I WAS pleased. :drink: :drink:

As with my Gallia, it's gonna take a while for the taste to properly come through. Not tried the Abbey similair to Lefe or Chimay?

Did you leave at room temp to mature?

Ok, it's been a fair while since I indulged in a bottle.

Tried it at room temp, not good. It's sickly with a an after taste I'm not fond of.

But chilled, that's a different strory, very good. It's sickly taste is now one of sweetness, with a balanced bitterness coming through. It's reasonably strong, around 7% I'd say. Reminds me a bit of Guiness Extra (export).

Tastes similiar to one of the strong dark Rochefort beers.

Worth a go for definate if you care for the above beers. :
