Does anyone know which is the shortest maturing high % Brewferm kit?

I want to get a double brew on for Xmass but I am wooried that I won't have enough time to condition it.....................

Cheers

You should just about get Christmas to condition in time for Christmas.

Last year I started mine on 12th October and it was good, but not quite ready. By the end of January, middle of Feb it was sensational.

So four months really, which is pretty much your timescale...

That said, I've still got 9 bottles of it from last year... They should be pretty good! This year's one was started 16th June to be on the safe side.

Cheers for the above, but any views on if the Diablo or Grand Cru would be passable by Xmass?

Ive brewed the triple and it was awful after 1 month, good after 3 months and excellent after 6. It didnt last any longer than that

Rivet

Thanks again all, double BF Christmas it will be, I just have to wait for my BB IPA to arrive and then I can get the FV No.2 ready, as the Nog will be kegged by then. Hopefully this will mean two kegs, 1 Nog plus 1 BB IPA (brewed with 1.5kg amber malt) and 30 odd Xmass ales maturing.

I might have a crack at a WOW next!
