I use the brew father auto water calculator and then 'fine tune' by playing with the figures. In terms of the pre-loaded profiles by style, I usually use them as a starting point but do plenty of research as well and adjust if I feel appropriate.
 
Brewfather system almost exactly matches the EZ water calculation spreadsheet if that's any help. Guess you could try it against others to confirm...
 
My water is hard and it doesn't do the CRS additions properly.

I think the issue might be getting a balance between the sulphate and chloride levels and bringing the pH down, so it doesn't bother trying to calculate the CRS additions.

I treat my water for ales, but use bottled for lagers and wheats as my water is unsuitable
