Hi - I am looking at both brewersfriend and brewfather. I am a partial mash brewer and brewersfriend allows me to add DME/LME as a late addition (i.e. at and of boil) and so calculates the IBU from the hops correctly. When i load the same recipe into brewfather the IBU's where really low. this was because it assumed the OG before the boil was really high due to it including the DME/LME in the equation. I cannot see how to tell it that these are late additions - does anyone know how to do this on brewfather ?

Thanks

Sorry - i have found that you can state "use" for each fermentable and can set at flameout. The beerXML export/import just did not set this. It now works as expected. Thanks anyway :)
