I’m on my way to Bristol with my family for the weekend.....

Are there any breweries worth a visit or pubs with a good selection of craft/real ales???

Bristol has a great beer scene. Wild Beer, Wiper and True and Left Handed Giant are all brilliant. You'll find loads of bars serving excellent beer.

Thinking of a tour of Moor brewery, are they any good??

I really like Moor, Bristol Beer Factory is really good too.

Bag o Nails is a great craft beer pub, I also really like Beer Emporium and Small bar, both on King St (quite central).

My daughters went on a tour of Bristol Beer Factory, ten in the morning and all the staff were totally pissed.

I've been to Bristol Beer Factory... Good selection of bottled beer and on tap, didn't do a tour but staff were sober! A few doors down is a great cafe and artisan bakery too...

100 yards up the hill, just past Aldi is the Thali for good Indian street food and craft beer on tap, good place for lunch...
