A bad picture of the first runnings, it's a lovely golden colour

To be honest it wasn't a successful day :wha:
I got 23L at an OG of 1.061 :( which I will put down to being the end of a sack of malt and my inefficient batch sparge.
Also my hop strainer had rotated during the boil, exposing the holes, so I couldn't filter properly :(
Looking on the bright side I will hopefully experience a better quality beer from the lower efficiency, also being only 6% abv instead of 7% should mean I cant drink more before falling over

A great set of pics TS - looking forward to hearing how it turns out. I fancy a honey ale now.

Got around to bottling this today.
Primed it with 105g of cane sugar.
So now I have 51 bottles of varying size :D

Thanks V :thumb:

I forgot to mention, the final gravity was 1.008 giving an abv of 7% :drink: :drunk:
Hence the mix of bottle sizes, I don't fancy "having" to drink pints of this all the time

I really need to get something put together for xmas. Was thinking of an IPA style.

Not sure yet.

Good one Tubby!

How do you find using 105g of sugar to prime works out? Really fizzy?
