Hi all!

Right - I had a mishap building a new brew fridge and ended with a load of cheap epoxy resin on the bottom shelf where the greenhouse heater wouldn’t stick.

It smells really strong, even after leaving the door open for ages.

Question is - could this spoil my beer, even though sealed fermenter?

Hi! Fermenters are PET - the glue is gorilla 2-part epoxy. It stinks 🤢
Gorilla glue recommend using warm soapy water to remove all of their glues including epoxies. For a large area cover it with a towel soaked in warm (very) soapy water and leave for up to 4 hours keeping it soaked by dripping more warm soapy water on it regularly.

Alternatively you could use acetone (also smelly, so maybe not) or isopropyl alcohol.
