@tefkab Sorry for not being around for a while, only just read your comment. The comment I made was a joke haha, but on further thought it might not be a horrible idea to use a tea strainer. I'm fairly new to the hobby myself so I'm not entirely sure how it'd affect the pouring of the brew...maybe one of the admins has any experience on this? Either that, or I'll leave it for an extra couple of weeks to pack down properly and hope for the best.

@Gingerbrews how did the bottling go?

Bottling complete and in warm store, ie spare bedroom.
Using the bag for the hops seems to have worked in that there was hardly any loose matter; hopefully I didn't lose any taste.
Had a little test which was pretty good. Now need patience!!

First "proper" tasting: still a little cloudy, not quite as hoppy as anticipated, lovely smooth taste but head a bit lacking.
Will be great if improves

Well had a couple of these last night; must say that it has improved dramatically in the last few weeks, tastes fantastic. Had to stop myself having a right good binge on it. Will be buying this kit again as soon as room allows.

Update: Had 2 last night, nearly finished as has been roundly appreciated by all who tried. Must report that it has got better and better, next time will (try) to wait 2 months after bottling before drinking as difference from first couple was substantial.
A definite repeat for me

Perhaps but don't leave it too long as good as this kit is after 3 months the hop it diminishes pretty quick and while the beer is okay at the end still it does taste a bit average once the hops have mellowed significantly
