Hi All.

I'm looking at getting a load of 10mm ID braided hose for transferring liquor and wort. Anyone have any preferences as to which hose they use? I've found some, but it's only rated to 60°C, and I really need it up to 80°C. Obviously, I'm a cheapskate, so any ideas would be great.

I've used braided in the past. At hot temps it goes limp and kinks really easily
Morebeer do a silicon tube which is hard to beat, but it's in 1/2".
The problem with buying silicon tubing in the U.K, is the price and quantity required :(

Quite a few HB's use the Morebeer tube.

EDIT forgot to mention that the braided tube can delaminate at high temps and can burst really easily.

The ideal stuff of course is Steam hose, and I've seen some of it for sale . . . it is similar to braided PVC but is lines with something else . . . which just happens to be food grade . . .it don't delaminate though

When I find it I'll post the link
