Bottling from a cask

I am planning on bottling my ale this weekend.

It has spent a week conditioning in the cask.

Am I okay to release the lid and siphon into bottles or will this spoil the condition of the beer?

I was also planning on priming the bottles before filling.

Any advice please?

Next time just go straight to bottle or straight to cask, but yes your going to have to prime the bottles and open the lid to syphon. Make sure everything is sterile before touching things.
