Bottles vs. Barrelled beer

Having done a few brews now, I can't help but thinking my barrel stored beers taste so much better than bottle conditioned beers. I'm assuming it's because the beer is stored in bulk?

What are your experiences?

Initially yes but in the long run bottles mature and last better is my experience.

I can't help by agree with Mish, if only barrelled beer matured as nicley as bottled beer...
