Bottle washers.

There are forum members on here who use the old pint/quart cider bottles with screw top caps as shown below.

The red washers however eventually require replacing and my local home brew shop used to stock these. Unfortunately they no longer do so and I'm having a struggle to find an alternative source who can supply. I'm wondering if anyone here knows of anywhere where I could buy some.

Any advice appreciated.

I posed the same question just recently, I eventually got a couple of hundred of these - I have 200 of those old bottles.

They are/were £5 for 50 and work perfectly.

The guy at hopshop is an out and out dude, brewing encyclopaedia in human form - really knows his stuff and he stocks all kinds of weird and wonderful stuff, no doubt he'll be able to sort you out. :thumb:
