I've got my boiler ready to go BIAB but have about 4 kits I'm going to finish first. One of them is a Brupaks Birky Bitter which suggests boiling the whole kit (made up to 23l) for at least 10 minutes and says there is a view this would improve most kits.

Any views on this?
 
I think you have to be careful. The stuff in the tin is already boiled and hopped, then condensed somehow - probably even more heat!

I can't quite see what diluting it then boiling it again would acheive - unless you were using the boil as an opportunity to boil in more hops of course...
 
Jamil Z and John P did a kit test on their Brewstrong podcast show with three batches including one boiled as you describe and there was no discernible difference.
If they can't taste it I'm sure I won't.
