For some time now I have been thinking of doing 10 gallon brews :wha: my mash tun has ample capacity :thumb: but I need a larger boiler :hmm: I have tried to contact nordic optical (even in german thanks for the tip Vossy) but so far have not had a reply has anybody contacted nordic recently :?:  so I am thinking of an alternitive, Does anybody know another source for large stockpots :?: or would a large plastic bucket fitted with a couple of kettle elements work ok:?:

Brewmarc - unless you have your heart set on a shiny boiler the 60L FV's that you see at the HBF's with 2 elements are great, I used one for quite a while for 10G brews. The FV cost £20 one element cost £20 and I swapped the other from my old boiler.

I'll try to dig out a pic.

Edit...here it is in the back ground, I've got a 100ltr SS boiler now but this 60L boiler serves as a stockpot now.
