Hi there

just signed up to BOC, my last piece of the jigsaw.

Anyway, they are asking me if i need Vapour or Liquid industrial CO2. I can only assume vapour as im not sure why i would put liquid in there?

also, is industrial different from food gas?

either way, about 80 quid for quite a big bottle of CO2 for the yr. should do me a year at least..22kg i believe

Oh, so they will deal with normal people then?

Yeah, the one here in NI will anyway. lol. It is industrial gas though so thats where my question comes in. Not sure if they would supply food quality.

Well, I would assume that CO2 is CO2, because if it wasn't, it wouldn't be CO2. I've heard that some people using welding gas for home brew too.

I'm no expert though and I wouldn't bet your life on my guesswork and hearsay :P

You want vapour. And industrial will be fine. The difference is alleged to be in the storage of the cylinders.

I use welding gas sometimes. I'm still he*()&*(&NO CARRIER

Thanks Folks, i am trying one more pub source before finally signing up for my first BOC cylinder.
