Hi All
i have signed up a BOC account here in northern ireland, because as far as CO2 sourcing goes, its quite difficult. So i now have a source of CO2 whenever i want it, and will be charged only when i hire the first bottle.
turns out, the regulator is entirely different from the one i was supplied from Norm. The BOC bottles require a male fitting. The regulator i bought from norm is one of the female ones that is tightened onto the small co2 cyliners he supplies.
I will be able to get another CO2 regulator for use with BOC bottles quite easily, but before i do i was wondering if anyone on here has had the same problem?
is there an adaptor that can be used to link my existing regulator to the BOC cylinder to avoid the expense of buying a new one?
Will the new BOC regulator, if i have to buy one, work with john quest fittings?
P.S, looks like il have an empty CO2 cylinder and regulator for sale soon.
all help greatly appreciated!
