Is the heat exchanger stainless steel or is it copper? I have one and I think it's copper inside (it has some blue stuff (copper sulphate?) in it). It looks just like yours. What make is it?

I believe it is stainless and copper brazed together.

Citric acid should sort out the copper sulphate problem.
