My first outing with wine (Wurzel's Orange) has not finished fermenting yet - and I have another on today! This time, it's a blueberry based wine made up as follows:

1L blueberry juice from concentrate
1L White grape juice not from concentrate
350ml cranberry juice not from concentrate
350ml apple juice from concentrate
1.5lbs wine making sugar dissolved and made into syrup with 650ml water
1 mug stewed tea (5 bags for 12 minutes)
Topped up to shoulder with water in which dissolved:
1tsp Youngs Super Wine Yeast compound
1tsp Youngs Yeast Nutrient
1tsp glycerine

This should hopefully be a nice little wine, we'll see. I'll keep you posted!

I have something similar going with blueberry juice drink, but I'd rather have used just blueberry juice. Where did you buy it? I'd like to try something really dark with 2l blueberry juice and 2l of Welch's purple grape.

Got it at Morrisons. Actually, I need to post it in the offers section, as they are doing 4 x 1L juices from their range (except grape!!) for £3 at the moment.

Ooh, that's gotta be worth a sniff. I want to try some TC with different juices added (1l of raspberry/cranberry/something else per gallon), and if I can get the ingredients for my wine for that cheap, well so much the better! Cheers!

I have a Blueberry wine maturing at the moment it was made from 500ml Belvoir Blueberry Cordial purchased at ASDA added 2 litres of grape juice and 1.5 lbs of sugar no need to boil as it has no preservatives in it.

That sounds great! I will try a blueberry with red grape juice as well, I think. Love it. Next up is a date sherry! :D
