This too is being fermented currently.
Any ideas of what this cider kit comes out like?
Anything similiar?

O.G. at 1055.

Should be reasonably pokey! Only made 4 Gallons added 300 grams of extra sugar.

Taking it's time to ferment. At 1015 currently. Been in the fermenter a week and half.

Ok, it's probably better left just a bit longer for maturation, but I've no other supplies available! :(

I'm pretty pleased with the taste so far, it's nothing super special but I'd certainly recommend it! :)

I prefer it to the Finlandia cider, since it's not as sweet. More of a medium, which is good. :)

Could've done with being a little bit more gassy, only slightly though.

Any more feedback on this - Thinking of doing this to be ready for the warmer weather.
We'd be occassional magners drinkers, is this in the same genre?

I did one for 2009 and was told it tasted OK but a bit on the dry side (I dont like cider but better than Finladia which is on the sweet side) will be doing one for the summer ideal for BBQ's.

From memory (and due to the amount home brew consumed I've not much left :| ) I wouldn't say this tastes quite like Magners. You'd be better off with Magnum Elderflower Cider, it REALLY IS very good! :drink: :drink:
