Hi, i am looking for a bit of advise regarding making Blackberry wine, part of the instructions are here below, what i would like to know is, the 3rd instruction says (add 4 pints of water) but it does not say whether it should be Cold Water or Boiling water, would any one know which it should be. Thanks.

1 Strip and rinse the blackberries..

2 Put into a fermenting bin and crush. Chop the sultanas and add to the bin.

3 Pour on 4 pints of water. Add 1 Campden tablet, crushed and dissolved in a little warm water.

4 Boil all of the sugar in 3 pints of water for 2 or 3 minutes and, when cool, mix into the pulp.

Cold water, otherwise you'll have a h*** of a time clearing it. The campden tablet should sterilise it OK
