So I have fancied trying to make a tea bag wine for a while now and fnnaly got round to sticking on a brew today. I used:

40 Twinings Blackberry and Nettle tea bags
3l water
2l Apple Juice (tesco value range)
935g Sugar
Half a cup sultanas
1/2 tsp Tannin
Pinch of acid blend
2 yeast nutrient tablets
1 tsp GP Yeast

Boiled 3l of water and added the tea bags, brought back to the boil for a few minutes and left to cool, then the tea bags were removed and squeezed dry. Added the sugar and disolved it. The tanin, acid mix and nurient were put in the DJ and tea bag mix went in with half a cup of washed sultanas and the AJ, and the yeast was added and gave the whole thing a good shake. Airlock was fitted and it was stuck in the corner for a bit.

Sounds lovely :) I've got a similar Blackberry and Nettle wine just clearing now, although I used red and white grape juice instead of apple juice. The colour is dark pink/purple and looks like it will be great, it's just quite difficult to tell if it's cleared enough!
