Hi Guys and Girls.... :drink:

I've just done a half batch Stout...

4kg pale malt
500g roasted barley
500g flaked barley
70g challenger
OG.1036
This is my first blacken

So... do i need a nitrogen mix? A funney tap to get the fine bead?
 
Dispite all the stuff above regarding head formation; i'm just capping with CO2...
This is day 7 after kegging..
Got friends around.. so this is what we think....
Colour:Black can not see though it..
Head:good head fermation although loses its scafolding in 12mins (i know it should be drunk by then)!!!!
Taste:Smokey, Chocolate, Resineous,Good balance of hop.
Aroma:Faint Fragrance of Malt

Out of 10 in comparance with beer: 7.5
