after a good run of successful brews, I’ve ballsed up my most recent, which was intended for a party for our sons birthday two weeks today. An intended golden ale, repeat of a recipe that worked well. I let it get too hot during fermentation and it’s giving off some nasty cider-y type flavours that kill the hop character completely. Kegged a couple of weeks ago and I’m monitoring but no sign of improvement.

So I’m wondering if I can get something in the smaller 12L keg I’ve got. The next day I could brew would be Friday, so I’m looking at a 10 day turnaround…

Here’s what I’ve come up with..

It would be my first attempt with Kveik and I’d plan to pitch in the thirties and let it ride at room temp (22-24 currently) so it should be fermenting in the high twenties.
7 days to ferment out, blast carb and two days in the fridge?

Possible or am I watching pigs fly past with pint pots in hand?
