There are lots of down-the-mountain trails like that in the Alps. I've seen some (from the comfort of a chairlift) with banked turns where you must make the turn or you're dead at the bottom of a rocky gully. The cable cars have special bike attachments to get you up there then you make your own way down...

I wish today's cycles had been around in my day they are fantastic like motocross bikes without the engines.

That was a wonderful video. I've had a not-great day/week dealing with US crap. Just think, if I didn't make beer and seek out information on this website, I would have never have seen this! It just goes to show you, drinking beer is good.

I was quite partial to the music (social significance in the US) but that's not what made the video so special. The athlete made very difficult maneuvers seem effortless, no matter how many takes it took. The camera placement was very professional and the backdrop? I'll just say, not overly common here, and it was breathtaking (I don't throw that word out any old way or very often).
I've said it before, but 3/4 of the reason I like this site is because Mr. Tea goes out of his way to provide/search for good topics. Yes, not all of them are super positive but that's life on this planet. I'm not going to compare him to NPR (upstanding news source in the US, not funded by big business) but he's in the running.
Oh, Tea Guy--don't get a big head.
As you say in the UK, "Cheers, mate."

Ace video Chippy. I think thats Brendan Semenuk.
I do downhill mountain biking, biggest passion after brewing.
This Fabio video is awesome.

Apart from the first 1 minute 20 seconds, a great video
