Just nearly finished my kegerator build, just waiting for the new drip tray to arrive, progress so far :)

Cheers, but it wasn't all that expensive to make approx. £350.00 all in :thumb:

Sadly £350 more than I have free at the moment, plus I'm lacking space to store it.

Something else to add to the 'dream list'

Just building something similar, well not quite as posh but may I ask where you purchased the taps?

Thanks

Rob

Wow - that looks quality!!

The single worst thing about reading this forum at work is it makes me so thirsty

Very nice. Looking at it though I'm wondering how you fit in 6 kegs as it doesn't look big enough.

You can buy the originals from http://www.porta.co.uk/porta/our-range/ the rest have collected as eBay or private pub sales.

I`ve got another four of the taps up for sale at the moment complete with sign holder thingy`s

I only want £25.00 a tap and they weigh an impressive 1kg each. not your normal lightweight things, there are a few dings but nothing to worry about. Photos available if req.

If I have done my sums correctly I will be able to get 2 x 50ltr kegs & 4 x 20 ltr kegs in there, just hoping there is enough room for the gas bottle as well :hmm: or failing that 8 to 10 x 20ltrs

Cheers

Hi Rob, The price doesn't include the shank I`m afraid, but I make my own from 1/2 bsp threaded nipple, 1/2 bsp flanged backnut & 1/2 coupler, just JB weld the coupler to the socket and your very own extension piece, it therefore doesn't matter what thickness of insulation you have + IMHO is a lot neater than cutting out the insulation to fit the tap.

I`ll have a look to see if I have any nipples / backnuts / sockets if I have you can have them at cost.

I`ll PM you tomorrow.

Cheers

Just encase you were wondering what the finish was like on the inside.

If you do have a thin inside wall you can always add a back plate if required.

:thumb: Cheers,

I just remember seeing "runwellsteve"`s (+ other members) kegerator build a couple of years ago with a stainless fridge and thought Mmm one day, it was just a case of finding a cheap enough fridge and the totally unbranded taps.

As this will be my last kegerator build I thought I might as well put everything into it, yep 6 taps is a bit OTT but then again I have another couple of items still to put on it yet :D

Just fitted the stainless drip tray for the fridge, only need a piece of perforated stainless sheet now to form a shelf in the tray and its complete.
