Hello all.
I have just started home brewing and have had some success with stock pots and stuff I've got in the kitchen.
I'd like to scale up and was looking to by an all in one mashing/sparging/boiling kettle. Can anyone tell me the difference between ACE/Klarstein/Hopcat/Brew Devil etc. They all seem to be exactly the same system to me and I wondered if there was any real difference between them? Apart form slight price differences!!
Thanks in advance for any info out there.

yes in a lot of cases the 'small' labels are on identical h/w just re-badged, if they all originate from the same factory in china or its a case of duplication of a successfully selling design i could not say.

as a grainfather user/fanboy i can say that the kettle rims concept works, the budget option your looking at has a few 'minor' design flaws (ie controller position) tho none are task killers afaik.. but my bias has been declared ;)

if buying i would look at the UK retailers you would trust to uphold warranties and perhaps be prepared to pay a few £'s more than the cheapest ebay seller..

Thanks Fil, that's what I was thinking as well. I am aware of problems with the grain pipe falling off the supports into the main kettle and the controllers not being a bit basic. I think I need to find a good supplier, with top notch customer service!!
