Hi all I've done a few kits now, coming out fairly good, I'm looking to move up to all grain, but don't have the space for 3-4 fv. So what do I need to do a biab, and where do I get them? I'm a lager drinker so would be looking at doing a nice lager as biab no1

You will need either a large pot or an electric boiler. If you want to use gas or do it on the stove, a stainless steel pot is ideal. If you want to go electric, you can convert a large fv by installing a couple of kettle elements. You will want a capacity of at least 33 litres.

As well as the boiler you will need a bag to hold the grain. You can easily make a bag from muslin or voile.

That's pretty much all the equipment you need.

There is a good how-to on this forum to get you started :thumb:
