Artyb, thank you for the idea of using the bag to suspend the hops which will mean I can do without a strainer for now, hadn't thought of that one :thumb:
Joey1002, sounds like a plan changing the tap in the future, I'll look out for one of them. I take it the change to a ball valve is a dead simple job, something even a numpty like me can do?
