Today was my second BIAB brewday.
Went for a recipe based on Fursty Ferret. Thought I'd try a less hop-strong brew for my second BIAB.
Still getting used to equipment. Didn't get too stressed about hitting targets etc. Used maxi-BIAB with my 32L boiler, 10L sparge and returned to boil.
Original gravity was 1.040,
Recipe:
3.5Kg MO pale malt
300g Caramalt
300g Wheat malt Pale
12g Target - 60 mins
20g EKG - 20 mins
25g Styrian Goldings - 0 mins
My first time using a copper immersion chiller. Took around 25 mins to drop to pitching temperature. Very impressive!
