Hi. I bought a 30 bottle Rojo Tinto and am in the process of bottling it. Yesterday I drew off one bottle for a Sunday lunch. I still had 3 bottles left of a Beaverdale Shiraz and being a bank holiday Monday to follow decided to have a Christmas dinner. Sounds crazy but I still had 1kg of Turkey in the deep freeze. I decided to open a Shiraz to compare it with the Rijo Tinto. To my surprise it tasted the same. Exactly the same. I do not smoke and my taste buds are A1.

What is going on here at Beverdale? Do they think people would just acept what they are getting and not compare notes?

Maybe a mistake in packaging?

Haven't tried the new Rojo Tinto yet. The old one was good. Quite distinct. Shouldn't be anything like the Shiraz.

I'll add one to my next order but obviously at least a month before I can comment.
