thinking of starting this kit with 1.5kg of lme for xmas maybe as i've heard it matures pretty quickly and is a great pint, was wondering who's done it and what results they've had, also what abv does it come out as?

I bottled mine a fortnight ago made it with 1kg of BKE - just opened my first bottle tonight, quite good but needs to condition for a bit longer.

Mine had OG of 1.037 and FG of 1.010 so only got 3.6%. You should get higher using 1.5kg of lme.

Not too long actually, seemed to get good around the 2 month mark. I would say you'll be supping it in the New Year! :thumb:
