i chose somewhere warmish, out of the way and keep it reasonably high up so i dont have to move it for bottling!!!

a nice big cupboard, it has pipes for the radiator thru it so no problems with temp in winter!!

Mine is on the worktop in my kitchen, which has an 8' radiator underneath it  . Minimum temp my FV is always at is 18oC.

Depends what time of year for me summer - garage is fine, winter under stairs cupboard

Depends on your circumstances/ability to accommodate an FV but somewhere with a stable temperature is ideal, for an ale yeast (i think as supplied with the majority of kit lagers) a room that keeps a constant 17 - 22 degrees is preferable. People butcher serviceable refrigerators in the pursuit of finding such an ideal space.

I keep mine in my "brewery" outside - like a second garage. I use an aquarium heater in the brew though to keep the temperature.
