Best Pale Malt 25kg Crushed (BESTMALZ) 6 EBC

quick novice question.. does this grain do the same job as marris otter?

iam just thinking of putting in a large order inc a 25kg bag of grain.. and i was wondering if this grain is suitable, iam planning on brewing things like ipa/bitter/stout/mild.

I've just ordered some of this today. Ive used Crisp Best Ale malt and it was great. Speaking to Shane at Cheshire Brewhouse, he says its all he uses and is best for more hoppy brews. I love the stuff and gives a lovely golden colour. Get some bought!

70% efficiency
60 min Boil
wlp023 burton ale yeast
Mash at 67c

90% 4.29kg pale malt
7.5% 360g crystal 75l
2% 100g choc malt
.5% 20g cane sugar (personally i would'nt bother)

14g EK goldings @ 60min
14g Fuggles @ 60min
16g Cascade @ 15min
64g Styrian Goldings @ 15min
