What is the best shop to buy kits in regards to postage?
Also what local high street shops sell kits?

Wilko's sell some kits (Woodefoordes Wherry etc) some Garden Centres have started doing kits too.

It might pay to get in touch with some online HBS's and see if they will do you a postage discount if you promise repeat business - most of them are quite friendly.
