I am hoping to brew a Belgian triple this week and am a bit stuck on the SO4-Cl ratio to get the best out of it. I generally us the calculator in Jimsbeerkit but not sure which profile to go for. All the reading I have done says use a balanced profile as the addition of sugar will give it a drier profile so that would hint at a 1-1 ratio.
Has anybody brewed one and have a profile they would recommend? I am brewing this for my wife who loves strong,light Belgian beers so would like to get it some where near on the first attempt just to keep her happy
