beetroot wow

just got a bottle beetroot juice from tescos http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/ ... =268417876 £2.49 .. a bit pricey so thought id try a wow

but not sure on wot other juices
RGJ and the beetroot
or maybe
RGJ the beetroot and a apple juice???
and thoughts ?? :wha:

I would say it had to be RGJ + Beetroot Juice. I think the Beetroot might be too over powering for most other things to work.

But, you can make any ‘grape + other’ juice combination to the WOW method.

I've never used beetroot juice, so if you're not already a member I would suggest you register with the Harris forum and ask the man himself.

Don't leave us, but there's nothing stopping you from having dual membership.

No, beetroot doesn't even begin to compare with tomato.


It should be noted that beetroot wine does tend to turn brown, and the man himself has confessed to adding red food colouring before entering a beetroot wine into competition.

cheers guys things to think about ... i only thought about adding the apple (in the non wow beetroot style conversion ) cause there is already 10% apple in the juice thought it may lighten things a lil!! :

I`ve done a couple of gallons of beetroot wine before - grated raw beetroot boiled, srtain the juice and add sugar, apple juice and the normal other bits :thumb:

Tastes of beetroot :lol: not everyones taste but quite a plesant earthy taste :whistle:
