Beer fermenter for wine.

Can fermenters that have been used for beer be used for making wine, also does any one used wine boxes for storing wine instead of bottling?

Clean fermenters can.

Wine boxes are short term - few weeks really.
Properly packaged & topped up glass is years.

Yes and yes.
I regularly use my fermenters in rotation for beer or wine. Depends which one is next on the shelf. I use those 5 litre bag in box thingies all the time for my wine storage. I don't use them as a means to hide them away for years on end in the vain hope that a £40 wine kit will miraculously turn in to a £300 a bottle vintage wine but for keeping it safe for a few months, they're great. The longest I've stored wine in one is just over 6 months if that's any help? As Mr/Mrs/Miss/It/Them MashBag has said, for proper long term there's no substitute for glass
