Hi All

Making a few different brews for Christmas which I want to hand out as presents. I really want to have some sot of cardboard box to hold the beer bottles. Don't care if it is display or has a handle (although either/or would be nice). Interested in any from 2,3,4,6 or 8 holders. Looked everywhere and so far found:

Here http://www.wbc.co.uk/4-bottle-gift-pack-kraft?sc=2&category=5637 which is perfect but only supply's to trade (I have sent a pleading email to them)
and here http://webdesignstaffordshire.co.uk/leekbrewery/index.php?page=bottling-equipment but doesn't have much choice

Anyone got any contacts to shops that do this sort of thing

cheers

You can pick up wine carriers in morrisons for free. Maybe wrap them in wrapping paper, or plain parcel paper? Plonk your brewery logo on and you're sorted. Cheap and effective...

I asked a few home brew suppliers to stock them last spring but they said no :(

Our friendly neighbourhood Malt Miller has it sorted, he is trying to get two and four bottle boxes at the moment for me!! Top man

It'll make for some good Christmas pressies this year. If only I had enough beer to be giving it away :(

Litho printers are your best bet for this but you'd need to find one who'd supply the boxes unprinted (maybe not that hard) or perhaps one that will tag a few blank sheets onto the end of a run for you.

The problem you may find if trying to order your own production run is that this kind of box isn't cheap to produce in small numbers. The cutting forme alone will be the best part of £100 unless you can find a printer who has a stock forme (some will some wont) and then there's the cost involved in setting up the forme on a cutting press (another £80-£100). The actual cutting is dirt cheap and once running a press will cut a few hundred an hour without a problem (which is why 5000 boxes would probably only be slightly more expensive than 50).

I thought it was card boxes?.... But yes! A wooden crate would be fairly inexpensive to produce and would look amazing! Would be very easy to stencil your brewery logo onto the box too for that luxury champagne feel!

Could always go to ikea....they have glass carriers that are free....bit sad when i went in, noticed them and thought of beer bottle carriers

I've been looking around for cardboard bottle carriers today and have been struggling, until I found this place. They are only plain card but can be bought in small numbers (even singly) so could be handy for some peoples' requirements.
