beer bottle box made from pallet

made this today from a pallet was quick and easy so will be making more. maybe with some rope handles and a lid, any suggestions ??

Seriously, that looks great :thumb: . I might be tempted to route/jigsaw some handles out of the top end panels rather than use rope though.

You could also add some corner locaters on, so they could be stacked - would remove the need for lids then.

Still not managed to make any but got tuns of 3 x2" waiting to be ripped into 3 x 1".

That box Stone reminds me of the ones they used to use as firewood at a local bonfire night back in the early 80's. I must have seen thousands of them burn, My dad rescued a few which he still uses to store stuff in or use as impromptu work benches. :lol: :lol:

Which I new then that 30 yrs latter I would need about 50 of them :evil:

The industrial estate I work at has about 30+ stacked up outside the units on a friday night. Wish had a wood burner. :whistle:

i dont know wher to find them in large quantities i had one because i ordered a pallet of glass bottles but i did notice while picking up swmbo from work that there are at least 3 on route so they are about, building sites??
i have no plan as such i just had a pallet,saw, hammer and old nails. holds 24 bottles perfect :) takes almost 1 pallet to build one box

Really like that, nice and simple :thumb:

Might have a go and knock a few up with some scarp wood, will form a handle with the bandsaw
