Well my very first brew is on the go at last, after much thinking and reading humming and haaing. I splashed out the cash and have got enough equipment it seems to give guinness a hand. I have plumped for a kit. I was going to go straight into the grain stuff but that will be next week as my boiler designs are still that designs.
But on the go is a Youngs amber ale. Here we go my fellow brewmeisters wish me luck:thumb:

Nice one :thumb: My first brew was Youngs American Amber Ale. I have nearly drunk that and now have 40 pints of Festival Golden Stag ready to be consumed. Have to say, the kits these days are very good (esp the Golden Stag). I have had a delivery from The Malt Miller today, planning my first All Grain..........

Enjoy the brewing, its great

Jas
