Batch priming guidance?

Hi all,
I'm after some advice on batch priming my soon to be finished 1st ever brew (coopers draught Kit) I'm going to make up a sugar syrup in a pan and once cooled, will pop this into a second fermenting bin, prior to adding the brew.

Can anyone tell me how much sugar should I use to make my syrup? (I'm using 1ltr PET bottles and have a 22ltr brew) I have read a few posts that reccomend somewhere between 80g-88g?

Also, I've been advised by my local home brew shop owner to mix in 2 tablespoons of the yeast sludge from the bottom of the primary into the syrup?
Is this necessary and what difference would this make?

I have a packet of beer finings, at what stage do I add this?

Sorry for all the questions, but am new to this and don't want to balls up my 1st brew, so please be gentle with me.

Welcome to the forum
How fizzy you want your ale is all down to personal choice but about 80grams should be fine. Don't think adding some of the yeast cake is really necessary, even you are using finings there should be enough yeast in suspension to carbonate the brew just fine

For 23L I use 100g of white sugar and it produces a perfect carbonation for an ale. There's no need to mix in any sludge from the FV - there will be plenty of yeast left for the carbonation, even if you use finings. I don't think there's any need to add finings - it will all eventually settle out anyway.
 
As they say above, it depends what you like, but at 100g you will not be disappointed if you like alot. ;)
I go with 60 to 80g myself. :)
