Bloody hell those barrels aren't cheap. I remember a guy by me was selling 200l ones for £30
We're a bit late to the party here but the smaller barrels are actually more expensive that our larger ones because they have to be sent off to be recoopered. The prices do also include delivery and testing prior to despatch to ensure that they are suitable for their intended purposes 😊

Do you have maple barrels?
 
No, just nitro. Yes, the score is good and that’s what I’d say to anyone else getting a score of 41 but you’ll probably know yourself a win (or at least a placing) is what I hoped for so I am a bit disappointed.

How did you bottle the nitro version? Had one attempt at counter pressure filling using a carb cap and PET bottle and didn't quite work as I'd hoped.

I nitrogenated the beer in the keg and then used my Boel itap to bottle it. I don’t think I’d have attempted this without the Boel itap given the pressures you use with nitro.
