Barley Costs

With news this morning on the price of barley costs going up due to weather of the summer has anyone got some good locations from outside of UK for purchasing their grain. Although this was announced this morning i cannot see suppliers jumping on bandwagon and raising costs(don't know time difference from Barley harvest through malting to market) was thinking maybe overseas or irish maybe the place to look

I would have thought, the shipping costs of purchasing outside the UK would outstrip the jump in price (I have no idea on this btw just guessing)?

Although the barley crops are down about 20% this year the quality is supposed to be a lot better. I think I'll stick with buying British.
