that's what I love about the whole homebrew thing is doing something creative yourself, with an end product that tastes great, and brings joy to those who have some, so therefore I also book/cake when I can - sorry "cook/bake".

I made this years Christmas cake at the weekend - third year running, it's almost a tradition now.
we made marmalade recently, and when I make limoncello, I also use the lemons to make lemon curd, and/or lemon sorbet (not baking - but kitchen/food related)

nice chocolate cake by the way.

Its the only time i get any female attention... even off the wife lol!!!

If they dont go weak at the knees by looking at it they will by the weight... it weighs abit.

Here's the first of this year's special cakes, my two year old daughter's birthday cake, just finished and ready for tomorrow!!! :D

I don't bake very often, but more often than my Mrs does, and I'm always responsible for any Christmas baking.

Here's this year's cake, ready for icing - that's tomorrow's job - the cake was done far later than I normally do it, but it's been well fed on brandy..

Bread is the original yeast users and in medival times brewers were closley linked to the bakers as they used/shared the same yeast and most bakers were men back in those days!!

Think it's time for me me on chip in, I worked in a fancy restaurant for a long time. Starters and sweets chef.

Although the I can't make anything like called, I hate icing. I do make bread and pizza dough quite a lot. I make brioche too.

My other half can't cook at all so I make tea, the cakes everything.
Must made my famous chocolate brownie with a pastry base. Went down well with my son.

Usually there's 3 cheesecakes in my fridge but been busy with work lately.

It's amazing how many people bake here.

I make pies and quiches and such (mostly at work but sometimes at home)
However I am terrible at making cakes, the wife makes them usually as I always manage to cock them up somehow.
I'm a much better savory chef, it must be my work, it makes me look for ways to add meat to everything haha.
Got to say that some of these cakes are things of beauty.
